Training courses for users
During this training course, we assume that the trainee has little experience with the control and operation of a railway aerial work platform. This basic training course for the operation of a railway aerial work platform is very hands on. Only when the driver has full control of the aerial platform can safety be guaranteed. Theory will be discussed and studied during the railway aerial work platform training sessions. Once the theory has been explained and understood, we will continue with the practical training of the railway aerial work platform.
Of course we focus on safety, but above all we think it is important that the driver has full control over the Railbuddy. Because even when you take all safety aspects into account, if the aerial platform is not properly controlled, there is sometimes no stopping it.
Every organisation must meet any Working Conditions Act and insurance requirements. Drivers of aerial work platforms who hold the certificate “Safe practice: railway aerial work platform” meet these safety requirements. By instructing employees in advance, you avoid having to stop during the execution of the work if it turns out that the employees do not have the right papers. Furthermore, under the Working Conditions Act, a company is obliged to have the relevant employees have been thoroughly briefed, including with regard to the use and operation of aerial work platforms. An extensive instruction is provided by means of a railway aerial work platform course. On successful completion of the railway aerial work platform course, the participants will receive a certificate validating their capabilities and as proof that thorough instructions have been provided.
